WE ARE

BETHEL STRONG

Bethel Strong is a volunteer community aid group in Bethel, Vermont.

Bethel Strong launched during the Covid-19 pandemic by a team of volunteer community organizers.
Our mission was to help the community work together and get help to those who need it.

Today, we maintain this site as a community resource for community and emergency information. We are ready to reactivate our mutual aid systems in times of emergency.

We work closely with the town government, fire department, and other towns as needed. We do not regularly update the site or provide direct assistance.

What’s Up with Bethel Strong

Bethel for All

Bethel for All is a village accessibility planning process. We’re here to make Bethel a more vibrant, accessible, connected and welcoming place for all. Learn about projects to improve our streets, parks and recreation, local economy, access to buildings and spaces, and more.

Grow. Eat. Help.

Get your garden on with the Bethel Strong teaching garden. This initiative started a community teaching garden, grows food for the food shelf, and asks folks to “grow an extra row” for neighbors in need. We need lots of volunteers each year to garden, deliver, chat, weed, and more.
