Grow Food. Feed Your Neighbors. And Yourselves.
Let’s Grow Bethel Strong.
Free garden kits and materials. Gardening help. Produce donations. Get involved!
Our food access task force believes that we can be stronger together when we start with healthy food, grown right here in Bethel. Whether you’re a master gardener or have never touched the soil, we’re here to help. Click the “sign up” button above to request a kit, sign up to help, or get more info.
Get a free garden kit
Want to garden, but don’t have one yet? Thanks to generous grants and donations, we have free raised bed kits available for community members who need them. Your kit comes with materials, soil, seeds, and assistance getting started. Reserve one today!
Learn in the teaching garden
Need to brush up on your skills, or learn the difference between weeds and watermelons? We have a new community teaching garden next to the Bethel Rec Center. Come check it out, ask questions, learn how to get started and troubleshoot. Volunteers needed! Contact us to ask about time slots.
Grow an extra row
If you plan to garden this year, think about planting an extra row to donate. All donations will go to the Bethel Food Shelf and White River Valley School. Sign up and tell us what you’ll grow and we’ll give you a free packet of seeds!
THANKS!
With gratitude to:
Carroll and Marguerite Ketchum, for donating the community garden space
