Wanted: A Few Good Gardeners
Got mad gardening skills? Don’t have mad gardening skills? Want to help your neighbors eat more healthy, local food? Have a truck? Have a phone? If any of these are true, then t’s your lucky day.
The Bethel Strong garden project is up and running, but we need lots of volunteers to help make it a success. We’re looking for folks to help with:
the community teaching garden (planting, weeding, watering, teaching)
getting free raised bed kits to those who need them (deliveries, phone calls, coordination)
helping with the Grow an Extra Row campaign (spreading the word, coordinating, possibly food processing)
donating seeds or seedlings to our seed library
hmm…. we must be forgetting some things!
We’ve got jobs whether you are out and about or stuck at home, whether you want to help all summer or just once. If you’re interested at all in helping to support local foods and gardening, please sign up and we’ll get in touch!
