Free Food at White River Valley School
FREE MEALS FOR ALL KIDS UNDER AGE 18, whether they live in Bethel or not.
White River Valley School’s Food Dude and volunteer crew are doing an amazing job putting out hundreds of free meals each day.
Check in frequently at White River Valley School, since the details may change. As of May 26, here’s the deal:
Meal program is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11-1. You can get two days worth of meals for each child. WRVS is now doing dinners as well!
If you want to pick up meals: Pull up to the middle school side in your car and stay inside. Roll down the window. A volunteer will ask how many meals you need. When the volunteer places the meals on a table and backs away, you may leave your car to pick them up. Wear a mask, please.
If you need delivery to your part of town: Call the school to arrange. Buses bring meals out to pre-arranged drop-off sites in each neighborhood.
Thanks to support from Willing Hands, you can also often pick up free, fresh produce while you stop at the school.
You can pick up meals for additional children, so coordinate with another family if you want to help out!
Need additional produce, bread, dairy, eggs, non-perishables, essential supplies, and homemade soups and frozen dinners? Check out the offerings from the Bethel Food Shelf.
