The lights are on and Bethel is hopping this holiday season! Come downtown on Friday, December 9 for Bethel for All’s “Bright Ideas Open House” at Town Hall and holiday shopping all over town.
We’ll be unveiling the draft “bright ideas” and streetscape designs for the village accessibility plan. See the proposed plans, share your ideas, and vote for your favorites.
Then head out on the town and shop the local businesses and holiday markets, enjoy great food and drink, stroll downtown and check out the holiday lights. As a bonus, you can earn $5 free “Bethel Bucks” and enter a raffle for downtown gift cards and prizes just for participating, volunteering, shopping, eating and exploring!

Arnold Block Holiday Market (4-7 PM) — locally made arts and crafts by artisans and vendors
Babes Bar (2 PM - 12 AM) — cocktails and brews, Chicago-style hot dogs, popcorn and more. Show your Bethel Bucks punch card for 1/2 off an alcoholic drink or a free soda or cider.
Bethel Central Market (7 AM - 8 PM) - grab food and treats, deli items and baked goods
Bethel Energy Committee Open House (4-7 PM, Town Hall) — energy savings displays, info and giveaways
Bethel Historical Society Museum (4-7 PM, Town Hall) — explore the museum; sign the guestbook to enter a special prize drawing
