White River Valley School
PK-8 school on wooded campus with playground, basketball hoops, and Bethel Woods trails (1/4 mile connector to Recreation Center, 2.5-mile mid and outer loops). Public visitors are welcome to use the grounds outside of school hours.
The Bethel Woods trailhead, playground, and basketball hoops are located behind the Bethel Elementary wing (right side of building). To access the trails, walk to the rear of the playground and look for a small wooden footbridge. Once you cross the bridge, the Rec Connector trail is to the right. The trail to the left leads to the loop trails, which are currently flagged only. Trails pass through the school’s outdoor education “campsites.” Please leave equipment, tarps, natural shelters and other materials in place!
Public parking is available in front of the school. Accessible parking is available at the Middle and Elementary school entrances.

Accessibility: Building offers accessible entrances and parking at both the middle school and elementary school ends. The building is a single story and all classrooms, gym, cafeteria and public spaces are wheelchair accessible. Use the service bell to request entrance during school hours. The playground area is accessible via a paved, covered walkway around the building.
Hours and Seasons: Building and facilities are open year-round for school and summer programming. Grounds are open to the public when school is not in session.
