  • The Upper Valley Haven: All supportive housing coordination including Parkhurst Program and Family Supportive Housing Services will occur via telephone: 802-295-6500

  • Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA): Appointments for housing assistance can be scheduled by calling Westminster office (802-722-4575 or 800-464-9951) or any satellite locations in Brattleboro, Springfield, WRJ, and Windsor. You can find your local contact number on the SEVCA website.  

  • CAPSTONE: Emergency Housing and Fuel Assistance to be scheduled over the phone with a counselor. 1-800-639-1053. Serves the Washington, Orange, and Lamoille Counties of Vermont.

Here are some resources to help you plan:

White River Valley School (Free Meals)

The Bethel & Royalton Campuses of the White River Valley Unified District offer FREE lunch from 11am - 1pm.  Drive thru style pick up will be available in front of both main entrances (please stay in your vehicle). At that time you can also pick up FREE breakfast for the next day. This is open  to ANY children up to 18 years of age. If you are interested in lunch but cannot access it, email Willy Walker at wwalker@wrvsu.org or leave a voicemail for him at 234-6607 x2240. We are looking to start potential bus delivery or volunteer delivery possibly later in the week.

Bethel Food Shelf

The Bethel Food Shelf is open.

Bethel Strong Grocery Delivery

We are coordinating with volunteers (who offered their service through our community survey) to deliver groceries to those who are unable to make it to the store. Please fill out the survey, or get in touch with us if you are in need of grocery delivery.

Luna Bleu Farm, South Royalton (Online Ordering)

Put in online orders by Thursday at midnight and pick up at the farm on Saturday noon - 5:00pm

Pebble Brook Farm, Brookfield (Farm Stand)

Farm stand is open. They are also selling ready made meals from black Krim Tavern at the Farmstand and call ahead meals at Black Krim. "Want a small local veggie store as your shopping option? No problem! Pebble Brook Farm is opening our store early. Although we are limited in our produce we are sourcing and packing the store with a TON of veggies through Black River Produce. We are going to open the store Wednesday 3/18/20, seven days a week, 11-6. FARM STORE ADDRESS: 188 MENARD RD, BRAINTREE PRODUCE AVAILABLE: celery, beets, gold potatoes, red potatoes, kale, spinach, yam, white onion, red onion, pear, apple, carrots, cilantro, parsley, brussels sprouts, asparagus, radish, fennel, mushrooms, broccoli, cabbage, scallion."
