There’s so much happening in Bethel right now, and so many more ideas on the table: trails and outdoor recreation development, energy projects, recreation projects, improvements at the food shelf and non-profit organizations, planning projects, school and community connections, accessibility improvements, and much more.
Let’s get real: all of these take time, money, and attention. We’re a small town, with a small town staff and budget and a heavy reliance on volunteers. As we prioritize and plan action projects with Bethel for All, we want to think carefully about what we can realistically take on as a town. We also want to think creatively about how we can increase our town capacity through partnerships, sharing resources among groups or nearby communities, or growing our volunteer or funding capacity.

We need diverse voices at the table!
As we consider and prioritize project ideas, we need diverse people and voices at the table. With help from a state grant, we can offer $50 stipends per meeting attended for any community members who identify as BIPOC, refugees and English language learners, LGBTQ+, people who are unhoused, people living with disabilities, and people who have low incomes.
If you identify with one or more of those groups and would like to receive a stipend for joining this meeting (or others), you can confidentially reach out to Sarah Wraight at Two River-Ottauquechee Regional Commission. Email swraight@trorc.org or call 802-457-3188 x3007.
