Details, Accommodations and Volunteer Credits

What to Expect and Bring

  • Each walk will go at a slow and relaxed pace. The village walks will go either from Town Hall to the Wall/Rt. 107 intersection, or Town Hall to the school. The accessible walk will offer shorter options for people who don’t want to walk as far.

  • We will go rain or shine, so please dress for the weather and be ready to be outoors for 60-90 minutes. Wear bright or reflective clothing and comfortable shoes. Bring a water bottle if you like.

  • At the end of each walk, we will gather to share observations and thoughts on priorities. Stay for pizza or goodies and great conversation.

Accommodations

We welcome people of all ages and abilities and particularly encourage people with disabilities to join us. We will do our best to provide accommodations and flexible options at each event..

  • If you don’t want to walk, we will offer a stationary option at each walk. You can stay at the start location and help collect traffic data, or share your ideas on a map.

  • The Accessible Walk on April 16 (9 AM) will use a shorter route. We will have volunteers who can help push wheelchairs or offer additional help.

  • If you need additional assistance or accommodations, please call the Town Office to request (234-9340) or email bethelvtstrong [@] gmail.com.
